Network/System Administrator – Full-Time Cox Radio Group-Atlanta Reference # 293952

Job Description:
Cox Radio – Atlanta needs someone to provide local and remote desktop (est 350), server (est 25), network and printer (est 45) support for users (est 425) across three physical locations. Manage Windows 2000, 2003, and 2008 Server environment, including User Administration, Permission management, Log monitoring and backup processes. Manage system, application and patch deployments across Servers, Workstations and Network equipment as needed. Plan and perform hardware replacement for Desktops, Servers, Printers, and Network equipment as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Support users with off the shelf and proprietary computer applications as required.
• Maintain appropriate documentation
• Familiarity with the following products advantageous:
• Microsoft Windows XP, Server 2000, 2003 and 2008
• Microsoft Office 2003 and Office 2007
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005
• Microsoft WSUS
• McAfee ePO server
• Symantec BackupExec
• Symantec Ghost

Qualifications: Minimum of five years experience in network management is required. Microsoft certification is helpful. Experience in radio is also preferred..
